What is PetPocket?

PetPocket is a free web-based pet management and loyalty rewards application exclusively available to qualifying VuraPet customers. It runs directly in your internet browser on any smartphone, tablet or computer and requires no download or installation from any app store. PetPocket is designed to help South African pet parents manage their pets' daily care routines while earning loyalty rewards on every VuraPet purchase.

How to Access PetPocket

To unlock PetPocket you must have completed a qualifying purchase of R650 or more at vurapet.co.za. Once your order is confirmed, visit the PetPocket page on our website, enter your name, the email address you used at checkout, and your VuraPet order number. Your account will be activated immediately and 200 welcome bonus points will be added to your account automatically. We recommend saving the PetPocket page to your phone's home screen for easy daily access by tapping the share button on iPhone and selecting Add to Home Screen, or tapping the three-dot menu on Android and selecting Add to Home Screen.

How Your Data is Stored

All data you enter into PetPocket including your pet's profile, feeding schedules, medication records, walk logs, weight entries and vet appointments is stored locally on your own device using your browser's storage system. VuraPet does not store, access or share any personal pet data you enter into PetPocket. Please note that if you clear your browser history, switch to a new device, or use a different browser, your PetPocket data will not transfer automatically. We recommend exporting or noting important health information regularly.

How to Earn Loyalty Points

Customers can earn VuraPet loyalty points through the following activities. A welcome bonus of 200 points is awarded automatically upon first activation of PetPocket. Purchases between R500 and R999 at vurapet.co.za earn 50 points for every R100 spent. Purchases of R1,000 or more earn 50 points for every R100 spent plus a bonus of 100 additional points. A second purchase bonus of 50 points is awarded on your second qualifying order. Leaving a verified product review earns 25 points per review. Successfully referring a friend who completes a qualifying purchase earns 100 points. A pet birthday month bonus of 30 points is awarded once per year per registered pet. Logging a vet appointment inside PetPocket earns 15 points. Logging a pet weight entry earns 10 points. Engagement points earned through app activity such as walk logging and weight tracking are capped at a maximum of 300 points per calendar month.

How to Redeem Your Rewards

PetPocket offers two loyalty reward tiers. The Paw Reward is unlocked at 1,000 points and provides a 10 percent discount on your next qualifying VuraPet order. The VIP Paw Reward is unlocked at 2,000 points and provides a 15 percent discount on your next qualifying VuraPet order. To redeem a reward, contact VuraPet via WhatsApp on 062 936 9181 or email support@vurapet.co.za with your name, email address, order number and the reward you wish to redeem. We will issue a personalised single-use discount code within 24 hours during business hours Monday to Friday.

Reward Redemption Conditions

All rewards are subject to the following conditions. A minimum order value of R1,000 is required to redeem any PetPocket reward. Rewards are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Only one reward may be used per order. Rewards cannot be combined with any other discount code or promotional offer. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account. VuraPet reserves the right to verify points balances before issuing any reward code.

Points Expiry

Loyalty points expire after 12 consecutive months of no qualifying purchase activity at vurapet.co.za. VuraPet will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of approaching expiry via email where contact details are available, however it remains the customer's responsibility to monitor their points balance and activity status within the PetPocket app.

General Terms

PetPocket is provided as a free value-added service for qualifying VuraPet customers and may be modified, updated or discontinued at any time without prior notice. VuraPet reserves the right to disqualify any customer from the loyalty programme if fraudulent activity, abuse of the points system, or violation of these terms is detected. Points earned through fraudulent means will be forfeited without compensation. VuraPet's standard Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to all use of PetPocket. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
